The Pasadena Croquet Club was founded in 2006. We play all forms of croquet, from backyard 9 wicket croquet, to Golf Croquet, to Association Rules 6 wicket croquet. Each year we host croquet tournaments, put on special croquet events and demonstrations, and regularly hold free public lessons or paid classes. Check out a summary of some of our events.
There are different levels of involvement. Many people simply come out on a Saturday for about an hour and learn how to swing the mallet, score wickets, etc. These lessons are always free to the public. Come as many times as you would like. Are you ready for a lesson?
For those who are ready to improve, take one of our four week croquet courses. They cost just $30 for the entire course. We guarantee that after taking one of these courses, you will be able to beat anybody in your annual family holiday tournament or in your neighborhood. Some of those who take our classes start playing in some of our tournaments against more experienced players. Are you ready for a class?
At this point, many people get hooked on croquet and want to join our club. Our fees are very reasonable, $100 for 6 months or $200 for the year. It's half price for a spouse. Club membership comes with full 24/7 access to our courts and clubhouse, so you can play any time you want, invite your friends to play, etc. Since we are part of the Pasadena Lawn Bowling Club, you can also learn how to lawn bowl and do that whenever you want. Classes are offered to members each Fall and Spring so they can improve their game, which are either free or greatly discounted. Club members also get discounts on the tournaments we put on during the Spring and early Summer. As it gets hot during the Summer, we have social-style fun events on weekend evenings when its cooler. So there is always something going on for club members during the year, except for the Winter season when the weather does not permit play. For more details, contact us.
